IRON WITHINCOLLECTIBLES

Sell or consign

Two ways out, and we will tell you which one pays you more.

Cash today is worth less than patience — sometimes a lot less, sometimes not enough to matter. Send us what you have and we will give you both numbers: what we will pay for it outright this week, and what we think it brings on consignment. Then you choose.

Outright

Cash, this week

You get a firm written number within 24 hours of sending photos and cert numbers — not a range, not “depends what it grades”. If you take it, the money goes out the day the cards land and check out against the description.

  • Firm written offer inside one business day
  • Prepaid insured label over $2,500
  • Wire, ACH or a check — your choice
  • Paid the day the cards are checked in

Typically pays 60–75% of what the same card would fetch retail. You are selling the wait and the risk along with the card, and that is what the gap buys you.

Consignment

We work the market for you

We photograph it under our own lights, write the comps up honestly, publish the certificate and field every offer that comes in. You set the floor. Nothing sells below it without your word, in writing.

  • You set the floor — we defend it
  • Live view of every offer made on your card
  • Paid within 3 business days of settlement
  • Pull it back any time with 7 days' notice

Collections & estates

A shoebox, a storage unit, or a whole life's collecting.

Inherited collections are the hardest thing in this hobby to price honestly, because the person who can explain the cards is usually gone. We do these carefully and slowly, and we put everything in writing before anything moves.

We come to you inside 200 miles
Dallas–Fort Worth and most of Texas and Oklahoma. Nothing leaves the room until you have a written inventory of what we took.
Itemised, not lumped
Anything worth over $250 is listed individually with a number against it. Bulk is bulk, and we say so rather than burying value in it.
Grading handled for you
Where a raw card is worth submitting, we front the grading cost and split the upside rather than lowballing you on the uncertainty.
Executors and attorneys welcome
We will write a valuation letter for probate at no charge whether or not you sell us anything.

Start here

Tell us what you have.

You do not need an inventory or a spreadsheet. A description and a couple of photos is enough to get a real conversation started — and you will hear back from a person, at consign@ironwithincollectibles.com, inside one business day.

We do not buy raw cards sight-unseen, and we will tell you plainly when something is worth less than the postage. Nothing here obliges you to sell anything.
